We say ‘join us’ all the time. Join us at our semi-monthly Gatherings. Join us at the Open Space Conference in May. Join us as a member, funder or donor. Join us as together we preserve biodiversity with the Conservation Lands Network, connect people to the region’s parks and trails with Transit & Trails, and tell the compelling story about Bay Area’s land with our newest initiative, Your Bay Area. And join us on Twitter, Instagram and here on this very blog. We love working in partnership and we love working with people who care about land.
We’re excited to announce today that we are hiring. We are looking for a Program Manager to join our team and our staff meetings that sometimes look like this:
The story about this new position is simple: we’re growing in order to rise to the challenges of decreased funding and a changing climate for stewardship AND to fully realize the potential of the Open Space Council’s programs like the Conservation Lands Network. The ideal candidate will be committed, energetic, and eloquent. He or she will have a mix of public policy and planning experience, project management and leadership skills, GIS savvy, and a passion for land conservation. We’re looking for people that love maps, being outside,
dark chocolate, working in partnership, an office flooded with natural light, and living in the Bay Area.
Check out the job posting here.
Join us. By joining the Open Space Council’s team, you join thousands of people around the Bay Area who care deeply about protecting and connecting people to the land.
We look forward to meeting you.
