Celebrating 20 Years of Bay Area Land Conservation Accomplishments

September 24, 2018

On August 13, 2018, we held a celebration for the California State Coastal Conservancy’s 20th Anniversary of their San Francisco Bay Area Conservancy Program.

50 guests attended the event at Iron Springs Public House in San Rafael, including the Conservancy’s Executive Director Sam Schuchat and Bay Area Program Director Matt Gerhart. In addition to recognizing this significant milestone and $388 million in grants that have been made to over 700 Bay Area land conservation and waterway projects over the past two decades, Iron Springs generously donated 10% of the event’s sales in support of the Council.

The celebration was a success and delight, and we are encouraged to organize future social gatherings that bring our community together, especially ones that include funders and VIPs that our members can connect with. Additional bar and restaurant events are being considered in the East and South Bays.
