  • Please join us for our Ninth Annual Open Space Conference on June 13th. Together, we will learn about collaborative leadership, working across traditional agency and constituent boundaries and innovative efforts to help build healthier and whole communities throughout the Bay Area.
  • The Conference will feature noted speakers and panel presentations that will engage your interest, knowledge and enjoyment of parks, trails, natural habitats and agricultural lands in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond.
  • Two Exhibition Halls will be filled with displays about agencies, organizations, professionals, and businesses that protect and manage the region’s diverse parks and open spaces.
  • While mingling with your peers, join us in sampling locally grown foods from the Bay Area. Our lunch and reception will highlight the sustainable agriculture model that unites stewardship of the land with respect for those who grow the food and our need for healthier foods.
  • Get updates about the Uplands Habitat Goals Project and hear the latest on Green Vision 2025. During lunch, an optional question and answer session will be offered on The San Francisco Bay Area Upland Habitat Goals Project. This important project, led by the Bay Area Open Space Council, is a science-based process that will be recommending the types, amounts and distribution of habitats in the nine-county Bay Area. The final results are intended to assist resource agencies, park districts and nonprofits in making critical decisions about habitats to be protected and restored. This session will provide an overview of the project’s purpose, methodology and current status.
